Pereruela’s refractory clay oval casserole is modeled on the bottom with raised clay lines to prevent sticking of the skin of the “tostón”, suckling pig , in the casserole, thus avoiding spoiling the peculiarity of this tasty dish: its crispy skin. It is very suitable for roasting in a domestic oven, especially in a traditional wood-fired oven, since its curvature adapts to the circular shape of the oven, however, it can be used in other sources of heat. One end of the oval ends in a pointed shape to facilitate the dumping of sauces, while on the other side there is a clay handle for better grip of the piece. 

Instructions to follow exclusively in its first use: immerse it in water for 24 hours, let it dry and start using low heat to increase slowly
